Fighting pathogenic bacteria using novel peptide-based antimicrobial agents
In October 2014, I joined the Institute of Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition at the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. My research group combines the fields of organic chemistry, peptide chemistry, food microbiology and biochemistry to design and evaluate novel peptide-based antimicrobial agents to tackle pathogenic and antibiotic resistance bacteria.
Open Positions
We are looking for motivated and super nice people for MSc/ PhD or Post-doc positions.
Background in Peptide chemistry and/or Microbiology is an advantage.
